Due date and overdue topics
You can now set a due date for a topic that must be addressed by a given date. When such a topic gets scheduled or rescheduled past the due date, you’ll see it on the new Overdue screen. From there, you can take action to get it scheduled sooner (e.g., making one of the required participants optional).
Also, on that same screen, we are now showing topics with long wait times that may potentially require your action.
Next, we plan to introduce two additional improvements in this area:
- Chat/email notifications to topic creators when topics get scheduled past the due date
- Change the scheduling algorithm to minimize the number of overdue topics when possible
