Schedule impact analyzer, scheduling improvements, redesigned topic cards

Hi there!

This is our weekly update, and we’d greatly appreciate any feedback.

New features / significant changes:

  • Schedule impact analyzer. When scheduling is so effortless and making discussion urgent to have sooner just requires a few simple clicks, it could be easy to underestimate that action’s impact on the rest of the team. Now you can see what’s going to happen exactly to other topic (if anything) before saving your changes.

  • Major scheduling algorithm improvements. Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve expanded our internal tooling to allow continuous tuning and improvement of scheduling algorithms. Now we can run simulations of months of product use in a matter of minutes. We’ve also identified scheduler KPIs that balance both predictability and agility to make the right decisions when tuning parameters and comparing different algorithm implementations. This week we were able to identify and address several significant shortcomings in the previous version that caused unjustified schedule fluctuations. We’ll continue improving and looking forward to hearing your feedback.
  • Redesigned topic cards. This week we’ve redesigned topic cards to improve their readability and make it more obvious when the next topic starts in the context of remeet.

Small improvements & bug fixes:

  • [IMPROVEMENT] End recording automatically when only one person left on the call
  • [IMPROVEMENT] Added ability to invite users to private/sensitive after the start invite to topic

Best,
